Dear Warrior,

The reverse or backwards bear crawl up a flight of stairs was born out lack of horizontal floor space for regular bear crawls.I didn't want to make a spectical of myself by going outside on the sidewalk. My neighbors already think I'm insane as it is. So, as a finisher,I walked on all fours backward bear crawl style(head facing the bottom of the stairs)up five flights of stairs and almost passed out. It was really hard! This was after handstand and hindu pushups plus rope skipping, hindu squats, pullups, rope climbing and neck bridging.Try to walk up ,alternating hands , the steps as you would with your feet.Start on your toes, but it's okay to use your knees.Besides shoulders, triceps and cardio, the abs get totally blown out as well.

I alternate a lot of body wt. exercises with KB work.I really enjoy and benefit from both. Rarely do I just do one or the other. It's good to mix it up.
Get your wife on the KB's as soon as possible. She won't be sorry.Use the light ones (8kg.)for a while and really pay attention to her form.Add modified chinups, pushups and Janda situps to the KB drills and bring her along slowly.
