Dano,

I do not think it is disresptful for people to disagree and hold differeng points of view. With that in mind ,I maintain that my arguement is valid. The diets being compared were not low vs.high carb, but low vs.high fat. Both groups were eating lots of carbs. My point was that the low fat Japanese menu was no healthier than the high fat American. Fat is not the bad boy of nutrition that many make it out to be.I personally would never eat a mixed diet such as either group because my performance would suffer.

There are genuine diet experts out there who know a lot and they are not all scams. These people have a right to package and sell their information.
Not all diet gurus are frauds.Making money off a book or selling nutritional products doesn't make a person a crook, even if they are expensive.Pavel sells info and has very expensive products, does that make him a scam? Of course not, more power to him.I think good information is priceless
